Rules and regulations for buying, and returning textbooks

The BSU bookstore accepts cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and the Connect Card. Personal checks will require a matching photo ID. All checks must be preprinted with name and address and should be made payable to BSU Bookstore. The bookstore will not accept third-party checks.

Buyback

Unwanted textbooks can be sold back to the bookstore at any time. At the end of each semester, a special buying period occurs where any textbook being used during the following semester may be bought back for 50 percent of the current selling price. If the text is not being used again or if the store has sufficient quantities, a national wholesale market price will be offered. All books to be sold back must be the most current edition available and in a resalable condition.

Refunds

Please see the university bookstore for information regarding the policy on textbook refunds. Books must be returned within the stated time frame and with a register receipt. Please do not write your name in your textbooks until you are certain you will stay in the class. Copies of the return policy are posted in the store and printed in literature available from the store. For any non-text item, we will gladly refund your money at any time if you are dissatisfied.
