Student Code of Conduct Part I: Student Conduct Authority

Bridgewater State University has been granted authority by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to establish policies necessary for the general business of the institution. The Student Code of Conduct is approved by the President and the President’s Cabinet and is administered by the Director of Community Standards under the general direction of the Vice President for Student Life. The Director of Community Standards is given the day-to-day responsibilities for the administration of the Office of Community Standards and The Student Code of Conduct. The Vice President for Student Life or designee shall coordinate recommendations from members of the university community regarding suggested revisions to The Student Code of Conduct and shall present proposed substantive changes to the President’s Cabinet.
